Medical research contracts (CTAs, sponsor agreements, budgets) are dense, expensive to review, and slow to redline — the back-and-forth between research institutions and sponsors burns weeks per agreement. Aurora wanted to compress that loop with AI: upload the docs, get an intelligent line-by-line analysis, accept/reject suggested redlines, automatically rewrite the budget, and generate a polished negotiation letter. All in a single workflow.

Six-step negotiation workflow. Document Upload → Key Personnel → Review Details → Document Editor → Budget Editor → Rationale Letter → Finalize & Send. Each step is its own focused screen; you cannot get lost.
Multi-model AI core. GPT-4 and Claude orchestrated together — each model used for what it does best (GPT-4 for structured extraction, Claude for nuanced redline reasoning and letter generation).
Document editor with split-screen redline UX. Document viewer on the left, change-by-change panel on the right. Accept, reject, edit, or ask the AI to rewrite — change-by-change navigation with critical/recommended filtering.
Budget editor. Excel-like grid showing original cost, AI-suggested cost, percentage delta, and rationale popovers. Accept-all, reject-all, or per-line-item override.
Auto-generated rationale letters. The system writes the actual negotiation letter to the sponsor based on every accepted change — with adjustable tone, content toggles, live preview, and PDF / email export.
Authentication & access. Google and Microsoft SSO, email/password, role-based access control, full audit trail.
