kiraverse — web3 gaming token economy
Smart contracts and token economy for a Web3-native gaming platform.
the brief
Kiraverse needed a token economy that could carry the full weight of an on-chain game: a primary token for in-game economics, NFT contracts for character and item ownership, mint/claim flows safe enough for a game-launch traffic spike, and admin controls flexible enough for a live-service team to balance the economy after launch without redeploying contracts.
the work
ERC-20 game token. Configurable supply mechanics, taxable transfer logic for sink/source balance, role-based admin pausing, and treasury hooks for in-game emissions.
ERC-721 character & item contracts. Multi-tier NFT system with minting roles, batch mint optimization, on-chain metadata for stat-bearing items, and a marketplace-friendly royalty implementation (EIP-2981).
Mint & claim flows. Allowlist-gated mint with Merkle proofs, signature-based claim for off-chain achievements, and a public mint phase with gas-aware UX.
Admin & game-balancing tools. Owner controls for emission rates, mint pricing, allowlist updates, and emergency pauses — all through a multi-sig.
Test coverage & deployment. Hardhat test suites covering reentrancy, access control, mint edge cases, and game-balance invariants. Deployed to mainnet with a public verified-source contract on Etherscan.
the result
Kiraverse launched with a token economy that's both strict (mint integrity, role-gated admin) and flexible (live-tunable emission and pricing) — exactly what a live-service Web3 game needs.
